Our goal is to provide information, resources and technical assistance to districts that will result in an increase in the academic achievement and improvement in the school experiences of students who are culturally and linguistically diverse.

Pre-Conference
No Charge
Designed for districts identified with disproportionate representation.The morning will provide district teams with information on how the Transition Rubric that was completed by the district in June 2009 is related to the state personnel development model, and to the other CREATE initiatives. Teams will have time to discuss the district’s progress on implementing the disproportionality improvement plan submitted to the DPI in October 2009, and to share that information with the DPI. Professional development needs for the 2010-11 school year will also be assessed.

Designed for all school districts and organizations that serve children in the state of Wisconsin. The morning will provide a welcome and sectional presentations. A networking lunch will be followed by a keynote presentation, and the afternoon will consist of sectional presentations and a closing. The conference will start at approximately at 8:00am and finish at approximately 4:00pm.
