The conference will address:
Strengthening existing partnerships, building new collaborative relationships and developing Interagency Agreements between individuals, agencies and organizations to improve development outcomes for young Native American children with disabilities.
Special emphasis will be on working together to ensure Child Find and screenings, transitions from Birth to 3 programs to school district special education services, and the provision of services to children in their least restrictive environment (LRE) are culturally responsive and appropriate for children and their families.
SHOW N’ TELL
We encourage each Tribal Nation, County B-3 Agency, and School District to bring materials and resources which showcase your efforts in serving young children and their families.
The intended purpose is to learn about each other‘s programs and to generate ideas for future collaboration and partnerships. Please indicate the amount of space you will need to display your materials/resources on the registration form.
